Per his company biography, he previously worked seven days a week at a chemical plant and went shrimping on his vacation days.
“After a little convincing by his family, he got his captain’s license and started running tours. He quickly realized that this was a great fit and he has never thought of going back to his previous career at the plant,” the bio reads. “Jeremy’s a great airboat captain and loves interacting with wildlife & customers.”
The rumored couple has known each other since at least 2019
In 2019, Dufrene appeared in one of Del Rey’s Facebook posts, which she captioned, “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours.”
The singer shared a series of photos from her adventure, including one where she operated the airboat with Dufrene’s assistance. In another photo, the captain posed with Del Rey and two of her friends.
Fans are keeping an eye out for sightings of the rumored couple
Del Rey’s eagle-eyed fans are on the hunt for the next sighting of the rumored couple. Earlier this week, one TikTok posted a brief video of the singer walking by them at a music festival while holding a man’s hand. It’s not clear from the clip if it was Dufrene.
A few days later, a Reddit user shared a photo of the rumored couple at a restaurant in London.
Dufrene has also met Glen Powell
Powell appears to enjoy airboat rides too. In 2015, he posted a photo of himself sipping a beer as Dufrene operated the vehicle.
“J-Bone and G-Trash. We’re both single and ready to mingle. Find us on the swamp or at the Daiquiris To-Go place next door or on Craigslist Personals. Sorry for partying. (Not sorry),” Powell captioned the post.
